What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is 4 pm Check out is 11 am.
Does the hotel charge a resort or facility fee?
There is a 6% resort fee for the maintenance and upkeep of resort amenities.
Does the hotel offer parking?
There is free parking at every rental cabin. There is a large lot behind the lodge. For overflow parking and trailer parking there is Pins parking lot across the street.
Does the hotel have a pool?
- We have an outdoor pool that is open from Memorial Day-Labor day that is open for all lodge and cabin guests
- There is also a dry sauna that is open year-round
Does the hotel have a Fitness Center?
The fitness center is located in the lodge and is open 24/7.
Is the hotel pet-friendly?
All of our lodge rooms and nearly all of our cabins are pet friendly. There is a $50/stay pet cleaning fee for lodge rooms and a $75/stay pet leaning fee for cabins.
Does the hotel offer room service?
We do not offer room service however Pins is located right next to the lodge and offers food and drinks to go or dine-in, there is also Bayside Dining located by the waterfront on property that is open Spring, Summer, and Fall; as well as the 19th Hole located in our Pro-shop that offers drinks to go.
How many restaurants does the hotel have onsite?
We have two full service restaurants. Pins which is open year round, a casual dining atmosphere and features the Upper Peninsula’s largest bar! Pins also offers an outdoor Beer Garden, and a private dining area for larger groups and/or events. Their menu can be found here (insert link to webpage with live menu). Bayside Dining which is open Spring, Summer, and Fall offering a finer dining experience on the water front. Bayside’s menu is ever changing to offer the freshest locally sourced ingredients. Bayside can also be rented out for special events. We also offer the 19th Hole which features a full bar and grab and go snacks, pizza by the slice, and hot dogs, located in the Pro shop.
Are you open in the winter?
Yes! Our resort operated year-round. Drummond Island truly is a All Seasons Wonderland! There is something to do no matter the season!
How do you get on the island?
- There is a car ferry that runs from the town of DeTour over to Drummond Island, year-round every day of the week. The ride is 5-10 minutes long. The schedule and round trip rates can be found here

How big is Drummond Island?
Drummond Island is the second-largest freshwater island in the United States. It covers 129 square miles of land and 120 square miles of water.
Is there a minimum age requirement to rent a room?
You must be 21 years of age to rent a room.
What is the required deposit?
We will take a 50% deposit upon booking, the rest will be charged upon arrival.
What is your cancelation policy?
- All cancelations made within 7 days of arrival will forfeit their deposit, if the cancelation is made prior to the 7 day window there is a $25 processing fee, but the rest of the deposit will be refunded.
- Reservations can be changed or moved pending availability without a fee.
Do you have cribs or cots available?
No we do not.
